Ready to lead an outdoor destination that’s all about family fun? Akron-Canton Jellystone Park™ is looking for a hands-on, high-energy General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a dedicated team, and deliver unforgettable guest experiences.
About the Role:
As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind park operations—from guest services to maintenance, events, staffing, budgeting, and everything in between. You’ll manage a team, keep things running smoothly, and make sure guests leave with smiles (and maybe a few s’mores).
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage all departments (front office, housekeeping, maintenance, activities, etc.)
Hire, train, and motivate seasonal and full-time staff
Ensure high standards for customer service and cleanliness
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and expense control
Manage and optimize listings across third-party booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb)
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues on-site
Coordinate with corporate on promotions, events, and reporting
Maintain compliance with safety, health, and park regulations
What We’re Looking For:
Hospitality professional with experience managing third-party booking channels
Proven leadership in hospitality, campground/RV resort, or similar environment
Strong people skills—you know how to manage, coach, and inspire
Operational know-how: scheduling, inventory, budgets, etc.
Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and peak season hours
