Engineering & Robotics Teacher
The successful Engineering & Robotics teacher understands the importance of engineering principals and basics robotics and is able to support an engaging curriculum around the following outcomes:
-The application of robotics fundamentals.
-The planning and operation of robotic processes.
-The programming, installation, and monitoring of digital computers used for automation of electromechanical processes to perform tasks.
-Explain electrical and electronic principles and theory.
-Construct and analyze alternating current (AC) circuits and direct current (DC) circuits.
-Describe the functions and purposes of electronic components.
-Conceptualize, sketch and draw design projects and components.
-Use the engineering design process and quality assurance principles to analyze and solve design problems.
-Use Computer-aided Drafting and Modeling to illustrate the design of projects and components.
At least 5 years work experience/7-12 education in engineering, and robotics necessary. Candidates should possess or be willing to earn industry certifications/credentials. Experience with project-based learning is desirable as is an eagerness to research and learn new technologies and bring them into the classroom. Strong communication skills and the ability to both manage students and inspire students to learn, innovate and create are essential.
