HRIS Analyst Intern

Description

The HRIS Analyst Intern will support PetIQ’s Human Resources and IT teams by contributing to strategic projects focused on HR data structure, analysis, and reporting. This individual will help assess data accuracy, pull and analyze key workforce data, and assist in telling data-driven stories that inform critical business decisions. This will be onsite in Eagle, Idaho.

Over the 12-week internship, the intern will:

  • Gain hands-on experience working with HR and organizational data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with both HR and IT business architecture teams
  • Support reporting and storytelling efforts to inform workforce planning and strategy

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the review and cleanup of HRIS data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Pull reports from HR systems to support business needs and executive requests
  • Analyze key workforce metrics such as turnover, headcount, and hiring trends
  • Participate in mapping and structuring HR data architecture in collaboration with IT
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in data and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Translate data into visual reports and summaries that are clear and actionable
  • Attend team meetings and provide input on cross-functional projects

 

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable navigating systems and working with large sets of data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Interest in technology, human resources, or business analytics



 

Education Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field

 

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework or experience in data analytics, HR, or systems design
  • Passion for people operations and improving how data drives HR decisions
