Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique environment, where you'll work one-on-one with patients to design personalized treatment plans, implement exercise regimens, and use a variety of therapeutic techniques including Pilates based rehab to promote recovery and rehabilitation. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician recommendations.
  • Utilize a gym-based setting to incorporate functional exercises, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning into treatment plans.
  • Work closely with patients to track progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and help them achieve long-term wellness and mobility goals.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, posture correction, and proper techniques for performing daily activities, work activities, recreational activities and sports.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and achieve optimal outcomes for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with clinic policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, but new grads with a strong interest in orthopedics and/ or pelvic floor PT are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in pelvic floor PT or desire to learn from an experienced pelvic floor PT is a plus but not required.
  • Strong manual therapy skills
  • Experience or desire to learn Pilates based rehab, Lifestyle Medicine and wellness or preventative services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and energetic environment.
  • Passion for helping patients achieve their personal wellness and fitness goals.
  • Desire to work in a more rural setting with an underserved but growing population
  • Basic knowledge of horsemanship is a plus but not required.
