Service Coordinator - SOAR - $18.54/Hr

FT 40 Hr/wk Works in the community and meets individuals experiencing homelessness where they are, including in the woods, under bridges, and in abandoned houses. Staff works directly with individuals experiencing homelessness who have a serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorder; evidence of ongoing training and education in related areas such as mental illness, substance abuse, and/or homelessness is a plus; works in non-traditional settings and unstructured environments; and a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record. SOAR training is recommended. Staff should be organized and has an ability to prioritize tasks quickly. Attends any trainings/certifications as required by the state.

Hours: Mon - Fri, First Shift, Flexible
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent work experience in the provision of mental health preferred
- Work experience in the provision of mental health services preferred
- Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration, and insurance
- Good driving record
