Editorial Internship

Position Overview
Maxim Magazine is seeking passionate, creative student writers for our Editorial Internship program. As an Editorial Intern, you'll work directly with our experienced editorial team to develop and publish original content for Maxim Next, gaining real-world publishing experience and building your professional portfolio with official bylines.Responsibilities
 

• Pitch and develop original lifestyle-focused content for Maxim Next
• Conduct interviews with models, celebrities, athletes, and industry influencers
• Research and write compelling profile pieces and exposés
• Assist with editorial planning and content development
• Participate in editorial meetings and brainstorming sessions
• Learn the publishing process from concept to publication
• Collaborate with photographers, designers, and social media teams
• Meet deadlines in a fast-paced publishing environment

Qualifications
 

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field
• Strong writing skills with a distinctive voice
• Basic understanding of AP style and journalistic ethics
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Interest in men's lifestyle, entertainment, fashion, and culture
• Portfolio of writing samples (student publications acceptable)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital content strategy
• Professional demeanor when interacting with interview subjects

• Duration: 3-6 months (flexible based on academic schedules)
