We specialize in providing secure video recording solutions to industries like higher education, healthcare, government, and corporate sectors. Our flagship product, VALT, is a third-generation video solution, and we need a skilled problem solver to support, maintain, and optimize its infrastructure remotely.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and maintain remote server environments to ensure smooth operation of the VALT solution.
- Diagnose and resolve server and networking issues remotely to ensure clients have seamless video recording and playback experiences.
- Become an expert in the VALT software and its supporting hardware.
- Remotely install and configure VALT software, related server equipment, and network configurations.
- Provide top-tier remote support for customers, utilizing your expertise in server and networking to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Test and configure new server environments and equipment for deployment, including networking configurations.
- Support on-site installation technicians when they encounter challenges.
- Contribute to the development of new product features-help shape new software features based on your customer interactions and technical insights, and help test and design new hardware accessories.
What Will Help You Succeed:
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of remote server administration and networking, and who is eager to troubleshoot and optimize software and hardware. Here's what will help you thrive:
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including IP addresses, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience in remote server administration, including managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting remote environments.
- Familiarity with LEMP stack applications and technologies.
- Experience with remote support tools such as TeamViewer, GoToAssist, or Splashtop.
- Comfortable working with multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and managing servers remotely.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar degree highly preferred.
