Software Development Student Assistant

The College of Business Computer Labs is seeking to hire a student skilled in software development to help with our current projects. Your duties will primarily be to:

· build new software,

· modifying existing software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.

· You may also be involved in working with the IT department from time to time to build software solutions needed by lecturers.

To be successful in this role, you need a good understanding and depth in at least one object-oriented programming language, some knowledge in object-oriented programming and be willing to learn on the go.

Software Developer Responsibilities:

· Design and build new software based on provided requirements

· Improve already existing software by fixing errors, adapting it to new hardware, improving its performance, and or upgrade interfaces.

· Write easily understandable documentation for software development.

· Consult with departments on project status and proposals.

· Conferring with higher ups to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
