Position: Computer Programming Intern (Summer 2025)
Location: Fort Collins, Colorado (In-Person)
Type: Unpaid Internship at Tech Startup
Duration: 8–12 weeks (Flexible start date in May or June 2025)
Hours: Full-time, 4–5 days per week (approximately 40 hours per week)

Internship Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Computer Programming Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. Interns will play a critical role in developing and enhancing SureLink AI’s web applications, gaining practical experience in software development, system integration, and cloud-based solutions in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Interns will participate in the following tasks:

  • Web Application Development: Write, test, and maintain robust code using Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Develop and enhance user interfaces and application functionality.
  • Feature Implementation: Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement new application features. Respond to internal and client-driven feedback to refine product performance and usability.
  • Microsoft 365 Integration: Assist in integrating SureLink AI’s services with Microsoft 365 products, including SharePoint, Teams, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Debugging and Testing: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software issues through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on coding practices, system integrations, and software architecture.
  • Performance Optimization: Assist in identifying opportunities to optimize application performance and responsiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Optimistic and motivated, with a strong desire to learn new technologies and solve challenging problems.
  • Takes pride in delivering professional-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
  • Teachable, coachable, and receptive to constructive feedback.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS required; familiarity with Flask, React, or similar frameworks is a plus.
  • Familiarity or interest in cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint) is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Fort Collins, Colorado for the duration of the internship.
