ADMINISTRATOR II
This position serves as the Principal Assistant of the Executive Deputy Director of the Division of Parole and Probation (DPP). The main purpose of this position is to manage, organize, direct, supervise and coordinate the completion of administrative functions related to recruitment and hiring responsibilities for the Office of the Director. This position has to have a working knowledge of state rules and regulations pertaining to human resources, training, as well as DPSCS administrative policies, directives and procedures. Also, this position serves as liaison between the Executive Deputy Director and the operating units, regional administrators of DPP field offices, the DPSCS Executive team, and partner agencies that interact with the Office of the Director.
• Manages, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises activities pertaining to the administrative responsibilities of the Office of the Director of Parole & Probation
• Assists the Executive Deputy Director in developing agency policies relating to administrative functions. Advises Senior Level Advisor on established regulations. Implements policies by establishing processes that ensures compliance and completion of administrative tasks in a timely and proficient manner; and by effectively and timely communicating policy and procedural requirements throughout the OPP headquarters span and to regional administrators of parole and probation field offices and their subordinate administrators as necessary. Reviews and amends policies, procedures and practices as necessary to meet outcome goals and ensure efficiency.
• Meets with P&P executive team and field administrators to explain project objectives; leads the team in the establishment of processes and objectives for meeting required actions; sets deadlines for completion/implementation; reviews finished product for completeness and sufficiency; requests supplemental action as necessary.
