
Leasing Consultant
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team. As the first point of contact for prospective residents, you will play a crucial role in showcasing our community, assisting with leasing inquiries, and ensuring a seamless move-in experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage prospective residents, providing tours of available units and community amenities.
- Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Educate prospects on pricing, lease terms, policies, and available floor plans.
- Assist applicants through the leasing process, including application completion, screening, and lease signing.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with current residents to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Address and resolve resident concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date leasing database, tracking inquiries, applications, and renewals.
- Collaborate with the property management team to achieve occupancy goals.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on competitor pricing, promotions, and trends.
- Assist in coordinating resident events, marketing campaigns, and social media outreach.
Seasonality Expectations
Note: This is a seasonal position running from May to September. Ideal for students or individuals seeking summer work in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to walk the property, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions during property tours.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, sales, customer service or hospitality is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) is a bonus.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work weekends as needed
