As a Deal Sourcing Intern, you'll embody these values by uncovering hidden gems in the market, initiating valuable conversations, and setting the stage for successful acquisitions that benefit all parties involved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This is not your typical coffee-fetching internship. From day one, you'll be trained and empowered to:

  • Identify potential acquisition targets through research and strategic prospecting
  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to business owners and decision-makers
  • Respond professionally to inbound interest from potential sellers
  • Qualify leads and book conversations between prospects and our clients
  • Collaborate with our team to refine outreach strategies and messaging
  • Manage data in our CRM system and assist with lead enrichment

The ideal candidate isn't afraid of picking up the phone, has a natural ability to build rapport quickly, and possesses the curiosity to learn about different businesses and industries. You don't need years of experience – we're looking for someone with the right attitude who can grow into this role with our guidance and training.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current college student or recent graduate with interest in finance, business, or related fields
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic understanding of the M&A process or willingness to learn quickly
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Available to work 15-20 hours per week during academic sessions or 30-40 hours during breaks
  • Comfortable with technology and CRM systems (training provided)
  • Positive attitude and resilience – cold outreach requires persistence!
