Job Summary

The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for a Coordinator, Special Projects - Certificated for the College and Career Readiness department of the Innovation division. The job of Coordinator, Special Projects is responsible for coordinating and directing on-going assigned County Office programs; developing and implementing professional learning in assigned subject areas, providing leadership for the initiation of new projects; and performs highly visible and complex special projects as assigned.

The current vacancy will be supporting in the area of college and career readiness and requires knowledge of CTE (Career Technical Education) and grant-funded project experience.

**The current vacancy is grant-funded through June 30, 2029.**

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires the following Education and Experience and Certificates, Licenses, and Credentials: Education and Experience:Education: Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in education, educational administration, public administration, or a related field; and,Experience: Five (5) years of professional-level experience in directing and leading program management or coordination of new initiatives and highly complex special projects within a county office and/or school district-- OR --Equivalency: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in education, educational administration, public administration, or a related field and five (5) years of professional-level experience in directing and leading program management or coordination of new initiatives and highly complex special projects within a county office and/or school district.

Certificates, Licenses, and Credentials:

  • Valid CA Administrative Services Credential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $136,806.00 - $166,291.00 per year
