
Business & Logistics Manager
Job Description
Silhouette Security Group is seeking an experienced Business & Logistics Manager to oversee daily accounting tasks, payroll processing, and vendor/subcontractor management. This full-time, exempt position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, software proficiency, and excellent organizational skills. The role includes preparing financial documents, assisting with budgeting, conducting reconciliations, and supporting the executive team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in accounting and payroll, and one year of QuickBooks experience. This position is located in Santa Rosa, CA.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including data entry, tax preparation, and financial record keeping.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and other financial documents.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely payments to employees.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage Vendor and Subcontractor relationships.
- Support the Executive team with general administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in using accounting software, MS Office applications, and Google applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Solid understanding of debits and credits, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Familiarity with payroll management and tax regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred, but not required.
