Central Operations Specialists Supervisor
Overview
The Central Operations Specialists (COS) Supervisor will provide additional structure/span of control within the Central Operations Division (COD). The COS Supervisor's duties will include general COS supervision, serving as the COD Director's designee in a relief capacity, to facilitate and participate in hospital coverages, outside facility transports, facility assistance and other duties as required.
The COS Supervisor will assist the COD Director in assessing and developing COS staff members. They will conduct on-going reviews of assigned COS's performance to include performance management interviews (PMI's), coaching, mentoring, feedback, and annual evaluations.
The COS Supervisors will report directly to the COD Director. The COS Supervisor will have either Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday off.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher AND two (2) or more years of work experience INCLUDING one (1) year in a correctional institution involving the custody of inmates.
OR
Associates degree AND four (4) or more years of work experience INCLUDING three (3) years in a correctional institution involving the custody of inmates.
OR
High school diploma or equivalent AND five (5) or more years of work experience, INCLUDING three (3) years in a correctional institution involving the custody of inmates.
OR
Four (4) or more years of military experience AND one (1) or more years in a correctional system involving the custody of inmates.
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience in direct client contact in a residential facility or law enforcement.
