Marketing and Business Development Associate
We are seeking candidates with an interest in the financial services industry to support our marketing, business development, and event management functions. The duties include facilitating weekly staff meetings, distribution of marketing materials for our compliance consulting and support services through social media, e-mail, and at industry conferences. Candidates should have familiarity with social media marketing concepts and tools such as Canva, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, video editing platforms, and Microsoft 365.
Based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, the successful candidate will support senior management with all aspects of the Marketing and Business Development functions including conference scheduling and attendance, creating and processing proposals, media distribution, and maintenance of the contact management system.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage weekly sales/project management calls
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
- Support the administrative team in daily marketing tasks
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, e-mail, conferences, and internet)
- Design eye-catching graphics for industry conferences, marketing collateral, and promotional campaigns
- Prepare promotional presentations
- Distribute marketing materials
- Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- Help organize marketing events, including conferences and tradeshows
Requirements
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, E-mail Marketing Platforms, social media, and Design Platforms such as Canva)
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
- Interest in the financial services industry
