Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Service Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you’ll provide essential care and support to individuals in Residential, DayHab, and Educational settings, empowering them to live their best lives and achieve their personal goals. In addition, we offer training programs for candidates who would like to further their career in the Social Services industry, and there are opportunities for advancement/promotion upon evaluation of your skills on the job. 

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developmental and behavioral health needs with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
• Support individuals in building life skills and achieving independence.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
• Collaborate with team members to create engaging and meaningful experiences.

Requirements

• A caring and patient attitude with a commitment to quality care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in caregiving is a plus, but we provide training for the right candidates!
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Finally, we provide trainings for SCIP-R, CPR + First Aid, and Crisis Intervention & Prevention.
