Part time Marketing Coordinator

Bittersweet Farms is seeking a Part time Marketing Coordinator to support our Development Director to plan, develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing and social media, public relations, and branding program.

Job Type: Part time - 3 days per week in office /  Up to 24hrs weekly
 
Hours: 8:30a - 4:30p 

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour / Bi-weekly

  • Willingness to travel: 25%

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience

Skills:

  • Develop, oversee and manage Bittersweet Farms’ content creation, social media, and digital advertising strategies across several social media channels and over Bittersweet Farms’ locations: Whitehouse, Pemberville, and Lima
  • Work closely with the Development Director to plan, develop, and execute a comprehensive social media, marketing, communications, and public relations strategy on behalf of Bittersweet, Inc.
  • Manage and create content for Bittersweet’s social media pages
  • Manage, protect and maintain the branding policies established by the organization
  • Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic marketing materials that communicate, inform and persuade
  • Coordination of volunteer opportunities
  • Maintain knowledge of external environment as it relates to organizations that serve individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Maintain contact with organization’s staff regarding programs and plans
  • Excellent organizational skills; well disciplined; able to meet deadlines; self-starter; able to work under pressure of many priorities and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail; and the ability to multitask on several projects across multiple locations.
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  •  Fundraising software experience preferred
  •  Experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.

Experience:

  • Marketing: 2 years (Required)
  • Social Media Management: 2 years (Required)
  • Event Planning: 1 year (Required)

Requirements: 

  • Must have a Valid Driver License with ability to be insured 
  • HS Diploma / GED

License/Certification:

  • Driver’s License (Required)

Work Location: In person
