GIS Analyst
Position: GIS Analyst
Compensation: $21-28/HR DOE
Work Location: Hybrid; some office time required in Windsor, CO
Job Type: Full time, 40 hrs/week
EcoPoint Inc. is looking to hire a full time GIS Analyst to work as a member of a growing GIS team. This will be a highly autonomous position with GIS-related tasks including data analysis, data management and set-up of data collection infrastructure. This work will heavily rely on Esri products and support oil and gas or environmental services clients. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for learning and a desire for problem-solving and continuously improving their skills. Our ideal candidate is someone who is genuinely excited about providing valuable insights through GIS and is proficient in configuring ArcGIS apps/products.

Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position, with the specific terms of the hybrid work arrangement being negotiable. Especially during the introductory training period, an average of 2-3 days per week may need to be spent in the Windsor, CO office. Spending 1-2 days a week working in the office will likely be expected long-term.
Responsibilities
- Configure maps, dashboards and data collection tools through Field Maps, Survey123, Workforce, and Experience Builder
- Identify and resolve technical challenges related to GIS software, data, and workflows.
- Maintain automated reporting processes
- Analyze and QA/QC data
- Document GIS workflows and procedures
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze spatial problems and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to address complex environmental issues using GIS tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Understanding of Esri products (ArcGIS Pro, Survey123, Workforce, and Fieldmaps)
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, tablets, etc.
- Pass an Initial and Random Drug/Alcohol Tests
- Received or working toward Associates or bachelor’s degree in a GIS or Environmental Science field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with configuring Esri products (ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Survey123, Workforce, and Fieldmaps)
- Experience with Oil and Gas industry and/or Environmental Science services
- Experience with automating GIS processes through python scripts
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or equivalent
