Position Type: Federal Work Study Only

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • The Titan Equity Nourish Network is an organization that engages Detroit Mercy students in food justice and sustainability initiatives.
  • The TENN Assistant will assist with the TENN on-campus garden, all aspects of food deliveries, the planning and implementation of events, student outreach, volunteer management, and fundraising.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Interest in gardening and food justice.
  • Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
  • Good ability to stay organized and manage time well.
  • Ability to make connections and recruit volunteers and partners to the garden.
  • Enjoys working with others.
  • Enjoys working outside and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.

Anticipated Schedule: 

  • 3-8 hours a week
