Reading Enrichment Educator
Whole Again is a faith-based 501c3 organization working to reduce food insecurity and meet the nutritional needs of at-risk children in Cincinnati for the last 20 years. We seek to assist these children in developing a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Whole Again partners with a network of local churches and other organizations to provide summer meals and enrichment to children. This enrichment includes academic enrichment, physical fitness, art, music, nutrition lessons, financial literacy, and field trips. The meals are prepared by local caterers, fresh and ready to eat daily. We collaborate with other organizations that share a similar passion for reducing/eliminating food insecurity and childhood poverty to provide nutrition education, family meals, and additional support.
Whole Again is seeking to hire educators to assist with the implementation of the Reading Enrichment Program as part of their Summer Food and Enrichment Program.
Important Facts:
- Must be able to provide effective instruction in the area of Reading (i.e. phonics, fluency, comprehension, etc.) for primary and intermediate-level students.
- Must be able to plan/implement lessons and monitor student progress
- Up to four (4) hours worked each day for three (3) days a week, between (8am-12pm)
- Academic enrichment will last four (4-5) weeks based on location; (June 24–July 24, 2025)
- Must complete training before program starts
- Current criminal background check must be provided
