Theatre Arts Education Intern

Join the Garry Marshall Theatre team as a Theatre Arts Education Intern and contribute to our exciting 2025 summer theatre camp sessions!

What You'll Do:

* Assist with classes for students ages 8-17. 

* Support program administrative tasks.  

* Support program planning and curriculum development. 

Gain valuable experience in:

* Youth arts and theatre education 

* Curriculum development 

* Arts administration 

* Program planning and implementation

Dates: June - August 2025 Hours: 30-40 hours per week (in-person) 

Required Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled as an undergraduate, including an associate degree program. 

* Resident of Los Angeles County attending college outside of the region or currently attending college in Los Angeles County. 

* Legally able to work within the United States. 

* Interest in youth arts and theatre education, curriculum development, and arts administration. 

* Passion for education for ages 8 to 17. 

* Familiarity including practical experience with theatre elements (performance, design, technology, stage management) and basic theatre concepts. 

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized. 

* Experience with basic computer applications (documents, spreadsheets).

Preferred Qualifications:

* Teaching experience with children or teens. 

* Experience creating educational materials and/or curriculum. 

* Outreach or community engagement related to the arts.
