Intern, AI and Contracts

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting various departments. The intern will play a pivotal role in leveraging AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot to enhance workflows and maximize efficiency in commercial and services contracts and agreement review. This position will involve working closely with the Contracts and Legal teams to assist with administrative assignments and learning about the inner workings of the company. 

To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in learning about the inner workings of the Company and may assist various departments with department respective assignments.

Responsibilities      

  • Leveraging Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, and/or other commercial AI Tools, work with Contracts, Legal, and other teams to develop AI-driven enhancements to current corporate contract and agreement review process. 
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for workflow automation and efficiency improvements using AI tools. Attend meetings to learn about departmental needs and contribute to AI-driven solutions.
  • Fulfill tasks set out by supervisors, possibly from several departments
  • Attend meetings to learn about various departments within the Company
  • Perform research at a supervisor's request
  • Participate in Charitable Giving events
  • Support First Nation Group leadership/staff business goals 
  • Work within pre-determined budgets

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Enrolled in college or university in good standing, undergraduate or graduate level
  • Degree program in technology and/or business related field.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem analysis, and problem resolution capabilities
  • Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT
  • Ability to multitask
  • Cope well under pressure

Work Environment

This job operates in an office environment with no travel required. Use of standard office equipment such as computers, virtual meeting software, and phones is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Extensive use of a computer is required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time, hourly non-exempt position. This position generally works Monday – Thursday, eight hours per day. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required as job duties demand.
