Editorial Content Intern

As an Editorial Content Intern at MyBrownBox you will assist with editorial, creative and content management tasks such as research, fact checking, writing, editing copy, brainstorming and publishing. You will have the opportunity to pitch original content alongside the Editor-in-Chief

Responsibilities and Duties Included:

• Brainstorm and research relevant story topics with the purpose of publishing.

• Ability to create well written content in a timely and consistent manner.

• Take ownership of an article from start to finish.

• Assist Creative Director in brainstorming & pitching creative angles on a wide

range of topics including but not limited to; self-care, dating & relationships,

self-love, mental wellness, feminine wellness, sex, thought pieces, etc.

• Develop and maintain monthly editorial calendar.

• Engage community of prospective writers/contributors by updating them with

new themes/topics and reaching out to them to encourage written article

submissions.

• Create “pitch graphics” that can be shared across Instagram and other social

platforms to recruit contributors.

• Potentially identify & interview guests for editorial purposes.

• Ideate new ways to build awareness of written editorial content.
 

Note: Editorial Content Intern should be able to commit 3 days of the week and

commit to internship role for a 3 month minimum
