Engineering Internship Opportunity

Lenzing Fibers Inc., located near Axis in North Mobile County, which is recognized as the world leader in Cellulose Fiber Technology. Our plant produces Tencel branded lyocell fibers which are manufactured using a highly eco-friendly process for our global customer base. We are searching for a motivated Engineer Intern (paid contract position) to join our team.

Qualifications

·        Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and in an engineering           program – at the junior or senior level 

·        Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

·        Ability to take on complex problems, learn quickly and persist towards a good solution

·        Strong work ethic 

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office/SAP or similar experience a plus

·        Excellent interpersonal skills as well as the desire and ability to work in a team                           environment 

• Knowledge to create videos to demonstrate technical concepts, processes, or how to use specific tools or software.

·        Exposure to operating key unit operations for Chemical Engineering industry, including Fluid Flow processes, Filtration, Thin-film Agitated Evaporators, Heat/Mass transfer technology, etc.
