Early Childhood Development Educator - Infant/Toddler

The Bennett Family Center, on the University Park campus, is seeking a candidate for an Early Childhood Development Educator working with Infants and Toddlers (infant - 3 years old) committed to the process of creating and providing high quality learning environments for young children and families.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting and maintaining high quality classroom standards in a laboratory setting

• Coordinating and implementing an innovative curriculum model with a team of colleagues

• Establishing and maintaining relationships of cooperation and respect with all co-workers, supervisors, and families

• Providing oversight and training of interns and student teachers in early childhood education undergraduate programs

• Maintaining standards in accordance with National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation and PA Keystone STARS 4 quality standards

This position minimally requires a Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. Will be filled at the Intermediate Professional level.

This position requires:

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, and the National Sex Offender Registry Clearance (NSOR)

• A health physical with TB test is also required prior to starting the position

• Additional clearances will be necessary if you resided outside of Pennsylvania in the past five years
