Administrative Office of the Courts  Sixth  Judicial Circuit

Description of Work:

This is responsible administrative adjudication work conducting juvenile arbitration and teen court hearings and various associated duties.  The specialist will also monitor the progress of juveniles as well as coordinate and facilitate day and evening diversion programs.  Working relationships are established with program participants, program volunteers, community service agencies, school liaisons, criminal justice agencies, and other court personnel. Work is performed with a large degree of independence and discretion under the supervision of the Diversion Program Coordinator. 

Minimum Training and Experience Required: 

Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in criminal justice, behavioral science, or a related discipline. Experience in working with juveniles. An equivalent combination of education, training or experience will be accepted.                            

Location:         Robert D. Sumner Judicial Center, 38053 Live Oak Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525.  Travel will be required and candidate may be moved within the county, including West Pasco Judicial Center, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL 34654 

Salary:           $1,756.53 biweekly / $45,669.96 annually plus Pasco County benefits
