Position Overview

The Children’s Center is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented student to join our team as part of our kitchen staff. This role is essential in supporting our young learners by ensuring that all meals are prepared, organized, and delivered in accordance with dietary needs, licensing requirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Receive prepared meals from Dining Services and organize them in the kitchen

Portion and label meals, including any required substitutions

Monitor food allergies and dietary restrictions, ensuring proper meals reach the correct classrooms and children

Deliver meals promptly and accurately to classrooms

Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment

Wash dishes and assist with general kitchen cleanup

Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols

Support compliance with DCF licensing, NAEYC accreditation standards, and CACFP requirements 

Position Details
