ABOUT THE ROLE
This role offers a unique opportunity to support (RED)’s Business Development and Communications teams. From identifying, pitching, and signing new relationships with the world’s most iconic brands to creating media announcements for the hottest press and coordinating spectacular campaigns. In this fellowship, no day will look quite the same.
Your creative mindset will support the development of new content, campaigns, and pitch decks. Your knack for communications will promote (RED)’s mission and build long-lasting relationships with prospective partners, ambassadors, press, and vendors. Working alongside some of the world’s biggest brands, you will help bring new audiences and build awareness and support for (RED) in exciting and innovative ways.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Research key market categories and identify partner prospects
- Prepare highly personalized outreach emails and communications for prospects
- Support the creation of pitch decks with new potential partners, generating marketing and partnership ideas
- Create weekly pipeline reports and collaborate across the (RED) team to ensure action items are completed ahead of deadlines
- Develop business profiles that help inform (RED)’s partnership pipeline
- Assist with PR, media relations, and marketing material creation, including media kits to pitch to editors from top-tier outlets
- Monitor daily partner-related media through the Cision
- Develop (RED) coverage reports that outline external mentions of (RED) for organizational stakeholders
- Assist the Communications team with various events, planning, and (RED) product launches
- Help execute (RED) campaigns working alongside each department to achieve our collective goals
- Provide administrative support with Salesforce and other needs
- Assist other teams internally with C-suite biographies, business analysis, and other research
- Additional duties, as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- December 2024 or May 2025 graduates
- Adept at Microsoft 365.
- Excellent writing and research abilities
- Strong communications skills
- Discretion and a professional demeanor
- Experience with Keynote, Salesforce or Cision / PRNewswire is a plus
FELLOWSHIP OVERVIEW:
Through (RED)’s post-college Fellowship Program, fellows will achieve professional and personal goals, all while becoming advocates for (RED) and our fight against injustices. Fellows will have the unique opportunity to work on team projects, develop strong relationships with mentors across each department, and participate in professional development workshops.
Candidates must be December 2024 or May 2025 college graduates. The fellowship will run from June 9th, 2025 – April 10th, 2026, Monday through Friday from 9-5 pm. Fellows must have close proximity to NYC to be in the office 1-3 days a week.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Fellows will be paid $20/hour

- Generous paid time off and sick days. Office closed between December 25 - January 2.
