Position Overview

We are looking for a smart, disciplined, and highly organized individual to work directly with a senior investor and advisor. You will be fully embedded in all elements of the investment professional’s day-to-day flow of transactions, sponsor relationships, and deal sourcing activity. This EA will take on an increasingly more sophisticated role over time, expanding capabilities from organizing emails and assisting with call scheduling to saving deal documents, organizing materials, and eventually beginning to assist with preparing investment documents. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to learn how to operate in the deal world, has a passion for organization, and wants to help ensure deals are being tracked and business development potential is met.

The role offers high-growth exposure to private equity, deal execution, and business strategy, an ideal role for someone who wants to thoroughly understand the ins and outs of a career in private equity or entrepreneurship. Pay is expected to increase commensurate with value-add capabilities of the EA, with additional 1x deal bonuses based on involvement with transactions. The EA will be motivated to keep the investor’s calendar full of meetings, learn to support business development efforts by sending customized emails, while accurately tracking deals as they are being generated from sourcing efforts in partnership with the senior investor. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Track outreach emails drafted and sent per day to prospective deal sources
  • Send follow-up emails while tracking and scheduling call requests to existing contacts
  • Organize and categorize deal sources and keep CRM (Salesforce) up to date
  • Join calls with deal sources, take detailed notes and summarize next steps
  • Save and organize inbound deals and ensure clean records
  • Support ad hoc work including portfolio monitoring and website announcements
  • Assist with internal PowerPoint presentations and other projects as assigned

Candidate Profile

  • Recent college graduate with a strong academic background (GPA >3.2 preferred)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Available to work full-time (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PST, Monday to Friday)
  • No weekend work required

Bonus if you have:

  • Internship or organizational experience
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) or productivity tools (Notion, Asana, etc.)
  • Previous exposure to finance, investment, or business operations (not required)

Compensation:

  • $45,000 base salary
  • Discretionary performance-based bonus based on quality of execution and initiative

Location

This is a fully remote position. Occasional in-person opportunities may arise in the Los Angeles area or other locations, depending on need.
