The Staff Videographer is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content for various purposes within RTD, including video news releases, social media content, internal communications, and promotional videos. This person will work closely with different teams across the Agency to understand project needs and deliver mission-focused internal and external videos that align with RTD’s strategic plan, goals, and objectives. This position produces video content at a regular cadence for the agency.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Filming and Video Production: Operate video cameras, set up shots, and manage lighting and audio to capture compelling footage for internal communications, content for various social media platforms, marketing campaigns, events, informational and training videos, and other assigned projects. Filming may take place on a bus or train, at a stop or station, or in a studio.
* Editing and Post-Production: Edit video footage, add graphics, transitions, music, and sound effects to create professional and engaging videos.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work with internal teams, including marketing, public relations, community engagement, and other divisions and departments, to understand their needs and develop video content that aligns with goals.
* Project Management: Manage video projects from concept to completion, including planning, script writing, shooting, editing, and delivery within budget and timeline. Manage and serve as point of contact for any video projects that require outside contracted services.
* Technical Skills: Possess advanced knowledge of video editing software, cameras, lighting equipment, and other related technologies and best practices.
* Creativity and Storytelling: Develop creative video concepts, write scripts, and tell compelling stories through video.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
* 3+ years of video production experience
Preferred
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Arts or commensurate experience
OR:
An equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
* Strong video editing skills: Proficient in editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or another similar platform.
* Experience with cameras and lighting: Knowledge of different camera types, lenses, lighting setups, and sound recording techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments. Must be able to willingly receive and incorporate feedback about projects.
* Creative storytelling abilities: Ability to develop engaging video content that effectively communicates the intended message with the right audiences.
* Strong attention to detail: Ability to deliver high-quality video content that meets project requirements.
* Time management and organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Must be able to produce long- and short-form video content at a regular cadence.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to use sound judgment and maintain the strictest of confidentiality.
* Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing and prioritizing with attention to detail.
* Excellent customer service, collaboration, and strong listening skills.
* Ability to work non-standard hours (i.e. nights and weekends) and work independently with minimal supervision.

RTD offers a hybrid work environment. In-office is a typical work environment. The job also requires filming on location with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.

Pay Range:
$65,177.00 - $92,062.25 Annual
