Office Associate
Nebraska Extension brings University of Nebraska expertise and research in 8 key areas of impact directly to Nebraskans from all walks of life in each of the state’s 93 counties. Nebraskans turn to Nebraska Extension to strengthen their families, inspire their communities, empower young people, conserve and protect natural resources and advance their farms, ranches and businesses. This position is located in Beatrice, NE.
As an Office Associate, you will:
- Support Nebraska Extension by providing a wide array of administrative duties in areas such as 4-H, Horticulture, and Nutrition education.
- Create and maintain letters, spreadsheets, reports, and work documents.
- Prepare and proofread correspondence.
- Assist with Web content, email blasts, photos, newsletters, and other media projects.
- Help educators and assistants by providing clientele with related research-based information/publications.
- Assist with Extension related events such as county and state fairs, classes, programs, meetings, conferences, workshops, and information/awards ceremonies.
- Provide receptionist duties as assigned or needed.
- Assist with office financial transactions.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency plus four (4) years of office or administrative support experience; additional relevant education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Working knowledge of general office procedures and equipment.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams (or similar programs).
Posted Salary $18.80/hr minimum
