CoB Success Seminar Student Leader

The UA College of Business is hiring undergraduate business students to assist the instructors teaching the BUSN 110 and BUSN 111 CoB Success Seminar courses for new first-year students. CoB Success Leaders will be paid $12/00 per hour and asked to work up to 5 hours per week during both the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.

Duties and responsibilities include:

-       Assisting BUSN 110 and BUSN 111 CoB Success Seminar instructor(s)

-       Connecting with students to support their success, learning, and retention

-       Providing opportunities and avenues for students to ask questions

-       Creating and facilitating presentations and activities as needed

-       Organizing outside-the-classroom social/service activities throughout each semester

-       Providing assessment on students’ satisfaction of the class and learning

Must attend:

-       One full day of training the week before the Fall 2025 semester

-       CoB event(s) during New Roo Weekend

-       Weekly CoB Success Seminar class sessions for assigned section(s)

-       Prearranged meetings with assigned CoB Success Seminar instructor(s)

-       Bi-weekly meetings of CoB Success Seminar Leaders
