Moon River Senior Care, offers a unique paid internship for Pre-Health college graduates who are in the gap year before Medical School or PA School. Our licensed home care agency is located in Northern Virginia and offers an internship that includes training, patient care experience and educational sessions networking with healthcare professionals.
The internship description:
It starts with a full scholarship to the 140-hour Nurse Aide training program that is valued at $2,150.00. The in-person requirement takes two weeks to complete. This accelerated course is ideal for Pre-Health students seeking the credential to gain experience in patient care. Students and recent graduates can gain professional experience assisting patients and strengthen their applications to medical school or Physician Assistant school. I personally have written more than 150 letters of recommendation for graduates of internship programs. It is rewarding to see graduates of this program be accepted to prestigious schools and advance in their careers.
We are currently accepting interns on a rolling basis and will close the program when we have 12 interns. Interested recent graduates should reply to this post and qualified candidates will be invited to attend a ZOOM informational session that reviews the details. Following the ZOOM meeting, we will schedule one-on-one interviews with candidates who want to apply.
