Worcester Railers HC Summer 2025 Internship (Multiple Positions)

The Worcester Railers HC of the ECHL is looking for multiple FOR CREDIT ONLY (Unpaid) interns for the 2025 Summer Semester starting in May 2025 and continuing until August 2025. 

Candidates must be current college students and must be able to dedicate 10-15 hours per week to the internship throughout the summer. Strong verbal skills are essential, as is the ability to work well in a dynamic, small-office environment. The successful candidate should be dependable, able to handle multiple tasks, and work evenings, weekends & holidays.

Internship opportunities give you a chance to learn from our staff in the following departments: Marketing, Ticket Sales, Corporate Partnerships, Broadcasting/Media Relations, Community Relations, Graphic Design, Social Media, and Photography/Videography for the club.

Game Operations & Office:

  • Interns will be required to attend Railers HC events as requested.
  • Interns should be motivated to represent the Worcester Railers brand and tables
  • Interns will work office hours during the week and get experience in Marketing, Ticket Sales, Corporate Partnerships, Broadcasting/Media Relations, Community Relations, Graphic Design, Social Media, and Photography/Videography.
  • Interns will be required to attend community events and perform as the mascot if needed.
  • Interns may have the opportunity to volunteer at Skate to Success, our flagship community program or assist with other Railers Summer programs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Pursuit of Sport Management, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Broadcasting/Media Relations, Graphic Design, Social Media degree preferred.
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of projects.
  • Basic knowledge of ice hockey encouraged but not required.

Requirements:

  • Must receive college credit.
  • Available to work a minimum of 10-15 hours a week, including nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to attend events as our beloved mascot TRAX, a staple in the Worcester Community.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live in the Worcester or surrounding areas. (Max 1 hour commute)
