Job Summary:
Works closely with the service managers, technicians, suppliers, and customers to schedule service work to be performed at customer locations, create service quotations and orders while communicating with both internal and external customers on their service and product requirements. This position primarily supports services to be executed by our Field Service Engineers and Technicians in conjunction with the Customer Service Manager and Service Engineering Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieves an exceptional level of customer satisfaction through maintaining frequent and clear communication with customers and fellow associates.
- Enters, updates, and invoices service quotes and orders in our ERP and scheduling systems.
- Set-up and maintain customer records, equipment records, and files as required by Department Guidelines.
- Assist in part selection and coordination of the ordering of the parts with purchasing, design, and project managers.
- Schedules Technicians for onsite instrumentation startups and calibrations.
- Maintains compliance with the standard operating procedures, work instructions and process instructions
- Consistently maintains good work attendance and productive work ethic.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
- Associates Degree preferred
- Computer competent with common software packages
- Must be able to multitask, have a sense of urgency and great organizational skills, be detail oriented, and have a strong work ethic
Physical Demands of the Position:
- Sit at a desk, with minimal breaks, for up to four hours at a time.
- Perform data entry for up to four hours at a time with minimal breaks
- Spend extended lengths of time viewing computer screens
- Possess a clear and articulate speaking voice
- Must be highly organized, with a well-developed ability to multi-task.
- Possess ability to quickly learn and retain vendor-related information as well as company policies and procedures
- A high degree of self-control and the ability to interact with others in a businesslike and professional manner
- Ability to efficiently and calmly work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
