POSITION TITLE: Project Assistant
REPORTS TO: Program Director
Time Required:
Part‐time, hourly position, a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
 Maintain a working Knowledge and rapport with community agencies, programs, and networks
including county and city governmental agencies
 Maintain records and data tracking
 Create and file requires reports on a timely basis
 Work with coalition staff and leaders to complete fiscal reports to county, state and federal agencies
 Build awareness and positive perception of the coalition within the community
 Produces and disseminates professional information to the community
 Assist with coalition processes including meeting and event agenda development, workgroup
oversight and sustainment activities
 Engage in outreach, networking, and partnership with key community organizations and coalition
representation
 Ensure strategic plan and action plan implementation
 Assist with coalition evaluation, monitoring, and updated assessment processes
 Document and report progress, outcomes, and service provided on monthly, quarterly, or annual
basis as required
 Other duties as requested including the potential for occasional county or out‐of‐state travel
Job Requirements:
 Bachelor’s degree , professional experience equivalent or internship
 Ability to work independently
 Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.
 Strong verbal and written communication skills including creating presentations
 Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, extracting information from the web, and general
computer skills
 Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
 Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.

environment
 High degree of independent judgment
