Project Assistant
POSITION TITLE: Project Assistant
REPORTS TO: Program Director
Time Required:
Part‐time, hourly position, a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a working Knowledge and rapport with community agencies, programs, and networks
including county and city governmental agencies
Maintain records and data tracking
Create and file requires reports on a timely basis
Work with coalition staff and leaders to complete fiscal reports to county, state and federal agencies
Build awareness and positive perception of the coalition within the community
Produces and disseminates professional information to the community
Assist with coalition processes including meeting and event agenda development, workgroup
oversight and sustainment activities
Engage in outreach, networking, and partnership with key community organizations and coalition
representation
Ensure strategic plan and action plan implementation
Assist with coalition evaluation, monitoring, and updated assessment processes
Document and report progress, outcomes, and service provided on monthly, quarterly, or annual
basis as required
Other duties as requested including the potential for occasional county or out‐of‐state travel
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree , professional experience equivalent or internship
Ability to work independently
Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including creating presentations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, extracting information from the web, and general
computer skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
