As part of that effort, O.C. Tanner has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, paid internship. This internship spans several groups including Marketing, Information Technology and Security, People & Great Work (HR), Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Mech. Engineering and more.
This program gives students the opportunity to experience hands-on work and meaningful projects specific to their individual department, work 1 to 1 with a mentor, as well as collaborate with other interns and staff members cross-departmentally.
Job Description:
Internship opportunity for a law student to work with a mentor and receive on the job training while gaining professional experience. Learn directly from experienced professionals and managers with knowledge across numerous industries and services. Apply academic studies to contribute on various projects. Participate in real, meaningful work assignments to learn how your academic experience translates to the professional environment.
What you can expect:
The Intern, under the direction of the Associate General Counsel, will be directly involved with the oversight and various aspects of the in-house legal process. The Intern will complete assignments including contract drafting, contract review, legal research on AI and privacy regulations and other legal frameworks, assisting with AI, privacy, tech, and compliance related projects, supporting the General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, Compliance Counsel, and Director-Contracts on various projects as needed.

End: August 2025
Job Requirements:
Students applying for this internship must have strong verbal and written communication skills and should be actively enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school law school as a rising 2L or 3L. The ideal candidate would have strong organizational skills, be able to summarize/organize large amounts of data/research, demonstrate initiative, and be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects. Previous legal research, legal writing and office experience is preferred.
Schedule:
- Hours may fluctuate but generally will be Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm in a hybrid in-person/remote schedule from our SLC Corporate office in Salt Lake City, Utah.
