Human Resource Summer Intern

Maintains company HRIS  system.

Responsible for the input and accuracy of the HR and payroll database.

Responsible for the process and accuracy of on boarding and off boarding employees.

Processes all changes on HR/payroll system..

Researches and answers all HR/payroll questions.

Ensures employee file is complete.

Ensures paid times off policies are accurate.

Creates and distributes payroll reports weekly and on an as needed basis.

Direct contact with payroll vendor.

Completes all benefit enrollments.

 

 

 

 

Assists in obtaining information needed for legal issues, safety, benefit plans, and pension plans. 

Ensures compliance with all regulations.

Assists in completion of monthly and annual reporting requirements for benefit and pension plans.

Secondary contact with insurance carriers, financial vendors, and financial/welfare advisors.

Answers and directs all employee queries.

 

Schedules, communicates and documents all required training.

 

Ensures all employee/corporate communication via portal, monthly newsletter, and home mailings.

Process requested surveys and data.

 

 

Performs other tasks/projects as requested by the Human Resource Director.
