Retail Operations Assistant
We are looking to hire a student immediately (Spring semester into summer position).
Availability Needed:
Requirement: Monday-Friday 8-4pm (Minimum 20 hours per week)
Opportunity for Continuation: This role may extend into the Fall 2025 semester.

Job Description and Responsibilities
- Handle cash, receipts, gift cards, and other daily business transactions, including opening and closing at the Kaleidoscope Gift Shop and Safety Store.
- Merchandise and restock store displays.
- Fulfill online, phone, and email orders.
- Respond promptly and courteously to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Answer basic questions about products in the Safety Store.
- Participate in Injury Prevention Community Outreach Events.
- Collaborate respectfully with staff from Wild Rose Gifts.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Perform basic email correspondence.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Preferred: Retail and customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive and respectful attitude towards a diverse population.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to excellent customer service.
Work Schedule
- Up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks, including summer.
- Up to 20 hours per week during active academic weeks.
