Program Overview
 

The LCA WaterWORKS Internship Program offers an immersive experience, providing interns with valuable exposure across key departments. You'll build a strong foundation in an industry essential for community well-being and environmental protection.
 

Interns Will:
 

  • Rotate through departments including Plant Operations, Lab Services, and Engineering.
     
  • Gain real-world experience in water treatment, sample testing, and compliance.
     
  • Learn from industry experts and explore various career paths in water services.
     
  • Contribute to meaningful work impacting the local community.
     

What We’re Looking For
 

We are seeking passionate and driven individuals who meet the following criteria:
 

  • Current enrollment in a two- or four-year program (must graduate within 12 months of internship).
     
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
     
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
     
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to commute around Lehigh County.
     
  • A genuine passion for environmental science, engineering, or water industry fields.
     

Additional Details
 

  • Compensation: $18.50/hour 
     
  • Duration: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
     
  • Eligibility: Must be 18+ by April 30, 2025
