Supply Chain BI Analyst
BarkBox, Inc. seeks multiple Supply Chain BI Analysts in New York, New York.
Responsibilities: The Supply Chain BI Analyst will be responsible for identifying and driving cost reduction projects for BarkBox’s ever-growing supply chain network. Duties include: Preparing reports to influence critical business decisions and recommend viable solutions for identified problems; Leading cost reduction projects and leveraging the data results to identify revenue maximizing opportunities; Pioneering new ideas and implementing optimized business strategies and standard operating procedures by using supply chain analytics expertise; Creating, automating, and maintaining KPI reports that visualize business opportunities and measure business performance; Collaborating with our finance operations on budget planning, forecasting, and other quantitative tasks; Driving identified key business insights and opportunities into action, in collaboration with other BarkBox departments; Developing improvements to network planning and optimization modeling; Leveraging data from various sources to analyze and identify alternate solutions to recurring problems, improve customer experiences, and develop new business insights; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to BarkBox headquarters in New York, New York. Salary range: $92k - 114k.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 1 year of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 1 year of experience creating visualization dashboards using Tableau or MicroStrategy; 1 year of experience with scripting languages, such as Python; 1 year of experience working with SQL, MySQL, or similar data management systems; and 1 year of experience working cross-functionally with various organization teams to identify, define, and track key metrics used in company monitoring, planning, and decision-making.
