Associate Principal - Oasis Behavior Intervention Program

*General Information

Willamette Education Service District is accepting applications for a full-time (40 hours per week) Associate Principal - Oasis Behavior Intervention Program position. Successful candidate will work as a member of the Special Education Department and will follow a 260-day calendar. This position will be based at the Willamette ESD Yamhill Center in McMinnville, OR and will begin July 1, 2025.

 *Duties, Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Associate Principal, under the direction of the Special Education Program
Coordinator/Principal, works to support all students and staff at the Oasis Behavior Intervention
Program. The Associate Principal must be able to support the management of students,
address challenging behaviors in a supportive manner that aligns with WESD and Oasis
processes, supervise licensed and classified staff, support IEP meetings, and establish and
maintain a positive school climate for the learning, behavior, safety, health, and welfare of
students and staff. The Associate Principal possesses not only the knowledge and skills to
perform essential functions and key responsibilities of the position in an exemplary manner but
has the experience and ability to train others in each of these areas, across settings, and
student populations to help build capacity at Oasis.

*Salary and Benefits

  • This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) administrative/non-represented position.
  • Placement on the Willamette ESD administrative salary schedule, $97,110 - $118,150, will be commensurate with applicant’s qualifications, relevant training and experience, and prorated according to start date.  Salary and benefits shown are based upon full-time employment (1.0 FTE) for the entire school year contract period.
