Intern, Self-Help Center

Macomb County Circuit Court is seeking interns to work in our Self-Help Center.  While working under the Self-Help Center staff, interns will be assisting self-represented litigants in obtaining and filing pleadings with the Macomb County Circuit Court, including the Friend of the Court, and Probate Court.  This service will be provided in person.  While prior court experience would be helpful, it is not necessary; a service-oriented demeanor will be your best asset in this position.  Extensive training will be provided, immersing our interns in various aspects of the court system to allow them to answer questions regarding legal processes.   Scheduling is flexible, based on the needs of the Center and the intern.  If this sounds like the right challenge for you, we look forward to hearing from you!
