Start Date: As soon as we meet the right person—you?

🎈 About the Role

Are you ready to be the magic spark that lights up a child's world of learning? We’re looking for a Lead Teacher who doesn’t just follow a curriculum—but brings it to life through creativity, compassion, and curiosity.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll design fun, engaging lesson plans that help children explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. You’ll nurture their individuality, celebrate their milestones, and create an environment where every child feels safe, loved, and excited to come to class.

You’ll also play a key role in upholding our center’s mission and values, ensuring each day runs smoothly and joyfully—just the way learning should be.

✨ What You’ll Do

Create lesson plans that spark curiosity and encourage exploration

Teach each child as an individual—because one size doesn’t fit all

Keep learning hands-on, exciting, and age-appropriate

Collaborate with teammates and parents to support every child’s journey

Maintain a clean, healthy, and joyful classroom (yes, clean faces and sticky fingers matter!)

Follow licensing regulations and center policies with pride

Use the Creative Curriculum and real-time assessments to track progress

Foster a safe space where children feel confident, capable, and cared for

💡 What We’re Looking For

Someone who is:

A natural with children and passionate about early childhood education

Positive, reliable, and full of energy

Able to teach with heart and manage with grace

A team player who thrives in a supportive, family-style environment

Detail-oriented and professional, but loves to laugh and get messy with finger paint

Requirements:

EDU119 / NCECC (North Carolina Early Childhood Credentials) or equivalent

Experience writing effective, developmentally-appropriate lesson plans

Strong classroom management and child development knowledge

Ability to communicate clearly with parents and co-workers

Commitment to ongoing training hours

Punctual and dependable—our kiddos count on you!

🎁 Why You’ll Love It Here

Competitive pay + bonus opportunities 💸

Flexible scheduling—because life happens

A workplace that feels like family, not a corporation 🤝

Ongoing support and professional growth

Daily laughter, hugs, and “I love you’s” from tiny humans ❤️

Team bonding, appreciation events, and a leadership team that listens
