JOB SUMMARY
The Fulfillment Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Fulfillment Operations Team, managing the entire process from order receipt to the delivery of medical devices to patients to receiving. The ideal candidate will have a background in supply chain and fulfillment, ideally within regulated industries, and a passion for ensuring critical products reach customers in an efficient, compliant, and cost-
effective manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Fulfillment Oversight: Lead the fulfillment process, including inventory management,
shipping/receiving, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, Quality).
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of fulfillment associates ensuring they meet performance standards and work effectively.
• Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in fulfillment workflows and implement process changes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize costs.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, ensuring that products are stocked accurately and in compliance with quality standards, and ensuring that there is an adequate supply of products to meet demand.
• Vendor Management: Manage our shipping vendor relationships, monitor pricing.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, customer success, and quality control teams to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that products are delivered to customers on time and address any fulfillment issues that may arise.
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order accuracy,
shipping times, and customer feedback. Generate reports and recommend strategies for
performance improvements.
Qualifications:
• Management experience
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience within ERP systems and Salesforce preferred, but not required.
