Assembly Technician

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Roswell, GA

Job Type: Full-Time – First Shift

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and testing of jet engines and systems. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, test and repair jet engine components and systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on jet engine equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting issues with engine systems.
  • Follow detailed technical manuals and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and repair.
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement and improve testing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Aerospace Technology, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience in the aerospace manufacturing or assembly field of 5+ years can substitute an associate's degree.
  • Proven experience as an Aerospace Technician or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace systems and components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work standing for up to 8hrs per day.
  • Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Because this is an ITAR compliant facility the applicant must be a US citizen to be considered for the position.
  • 10% of international travel to Europe is required in the first year.

  • Typically, in a manufacturing facility, which can be noisy and requires the use of protective gear.
  • The role may involve standing, walking, and lifting, and can be physically demanding.
