Marketing Intern
Marketing Intern:
Meraki Unlimited is searching for a highly qualified Marketing Intern who can contribute to the development of new initiatives aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will have education and experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, public relations, branding, digital, and social media. The Marketing Intern must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Objectives:
- Increase brand awareness to drive potential customers to the Meraki website and to Meraki social media, building engagement with both.
- Contribute to the implementation of Meraki’s brand strategy
- Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by developing processes, content and lead generation
Responsibilities:
- Build brand awareness with innovative strategies. Intern to create unique opportunities and present for approval.
- In collaboration with team, run Meraki social media with creative posts that drive consumer engagement
- Manage Meraki SEO to ensure constant traffic to the brand website
- Support brand meetings with research and presentation decks
- Constant research on competitive brands, retailers and relevant trends
- Develop and prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for success
- Other marketing related responsibilities as needed
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- College senior or bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism or related program
- At least one year of experience working in a marketing role, preferably in a fashion related field
- Exceptional communication skills, superb written skills and the ability to collaborate
- Excellent MS Office and Canva skills
- Solid organizational skills and creative thinker
Internship is a paid part-time role that will provide significant experience and references for a future marketing career in a fashion related field. This role is remote with the occasional zoom or in-person meeting as needed.
