Digital & Data Governance Intern

Summary

As a member of the Digital Team, the eCommerce intern will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's efforts to manage and protect its digital assets and data. In this role, you will assist with the launch of our new PIM (Product Information Management System), Plytix. This position will involve assisting in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. The intern will work closely with various teams to identify data management needs and contribute to the creation of data quality metrics. By analyzing data usage and governance frameworks, the intern will help enhance the organization's data integrity and security. Ultimately, this role aims to foster a culture of responsible data stewardship across the organization.

Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

• Utilize Data management skills to assist in the documentation and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures.
• Support the data governance team in conducting data quality assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data management challenges and propose solutions.
• Participate in training sessions to educate staff on data governance best practices.
• Help prepare reports and presentations on data governance initiatives and progress.
• Create workflows for our data in Plytix, plus have the opportunity to learn about our website!

Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge 

• Enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or master's degree program in eCommerce, Data Management, PIM Management, and/or Data Science.
• Graduating in Winter of 2025 or Spring of 2026
• Experience with launching new programs will be a huge plus!
• Working with large amounts of data (20K+ SKUs) will be beneficial
• Knowledge of website data management best practices
• Superior communication and presentation skills
• Collaborates positively and effectively with all areas of the business

**Pay will be determined based on education level. 

• Junior - $20/hour
• Senior - $21/hour
