Math Intern- Game Design
Job Overview
American Gaming Systems (AGS) is looking for a motivated students (or recent grads) who are ready to get experience on game math design.
Responsibilities
- Get familiar with slot game mechanics and the principals of successful game design
- Calculate/Verify the game math probabilities and paybacks using both theoretical and simulated results
- Identify the math qualities of industry leading games
- Prepare documentation on game design processes
- Assist on math and game design related questions/requests from other teams and customers
Skills and Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Student Status:
- Undergraduate Student: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
- Graduate Student
- Recently Graduated within last 12 months
- Must have knowledge of Statistics and Probability and
- Must have basic Excel skill.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
